How to Get Involved

Minutes before I posted How to Be a Philanthropist on EB’s website earlier this week, I received the following email. It is an excellent example of how to get involved with an organization (like ours!). Direct personal involvement is what makes philanthropy so meaningful. Please take a look:

Hello Tobias-

I have been following along with what you have been doing with Experience Baseball from afar here in the MPLS/STP area and have been in awe of some of the great things you were able to do.

I am very excited that you will be bringing this on the road and coming to Minneapolis/ St. Paul, which of course has some fantastic baseball history. I would love to offer my services in any way that might fit with the work that you all are doing.

I work as an organizer/ consultant now, but I grew up in the Midway area of Saint Paul, a stones throw from Toni Stone Field in Saint Paul, played ball into high school, have Umpired, Coached, did Grounds Crew work at the Little League Fields near my childhood home, suffice to say baseball is in my blood.

So with all of that being said, I look forward to hopefully being able to help, as I said, in any capacity that I can.

Congrats on the successes this year, I can’t wait to see what you all are able to do in the coming year.

Best,
XXXXX
