The Lost Boyz Library Project

Children in low income areas often do not have access to quality reading materials, which contributes to the education gap.

Lost Boyz Inc. strives to bridge the gap by bringing resources to the youth of Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood. And we want to help.

Education is a pathway to success.

The seeds of education are planted at an early age with simple things, like reading and access to libraries. Not only vital to literacy development and language skills, reading nurtures curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Still a huge inequality remains for children of low-income families and communities.

Children in low income areas often do not have access to quality reading materials, which contributes to an education gap  difficult to mend.

Lost Boyz Inc. strives to bridge the gap and bring more resources to the youth of Chicago’s South Shore neighborhood. And we want to help.

Our goal is to create a library that will foster a love of reading and encourage lifelong learning among at-risk youth.

Beginning this Fall, we will raise funds, gather resources, and form partnerships to make this library a reality for Chicago youth. Follow us on our journey to build a library of high-quality, relevant, age-appropriate reading materials for boys and girls in the South Shore neighborhood. This library will be a great addition to the other services and programs that Lost Boyz Inc. provides for their community.
